Ah, do you remember chex mix and trail mix?  I certainly do!  I said goodbye to both long ago.  BUT – no need to say goodbye when you can make your own homemade healthy snack mix!

I truly think this is the ultimate party mix because it has the perfect mix of sweet and salty and can easily be scooped out of a bowl and shoveled into your mouth.

As you probably know, I prefer low carb meals and snacks, but I have a mixed household and not everyone is low carb.  If you happen to be low carb, head on over to The Keto Option after making this delicious snack for more low carb options.  This recipe, however, fits for both gluten free AND low carb.  

I could literally sit there with this and shovel into my mouth all day long.

You bet it is!  Not only is this snack mix gluten free, it is also low carb with healthy fats.  It truly is a perfect gluten free snack for kids AND adults!

When we are on the go, we’ll throw this in a ziplock back or a small glass container and in the purse it goes!

How To Store This Gluten Free Snack Mix

You will want to store this healthy homemade snack mix in an airtight container.   

It is made with egg so there is a shelf-life.  Storing in the fridge will give you a longer shelf-life than storing on the counter.
